ADC Therapeutics' Drug Regimen to Treat B-Cell Lymphoma Meets Primary Endpoint of Progression-Free Survival in Phase 3 Trial

ADC Therapeutics (ADCT) said late Wednesday its phase 3 trial of Zynlonta with rituximab to treat large B-cell lymphoma met the primary endpoint of progression-free survival, with a media PFS of 6.1 months.

Overall response rate achieved was 58.1% while complete response rate stood at 39.5%. There was no detrimental effect to the overall survival secondary efficacy endpoint, according to a statement.

Grade 3 or above treatment emergent adverse events were observed in more than 5% of patients across both arms, with grade 5 event mostly in patients aged 75 and above, the company said.

The company said it plans to carry out a pre-biologics license application meeting in August and preparing for a planned sBLA submission in Q4.
