PetroEnergy Resources Unit Secures ECC for Capiz Solar Project

PetroEnergy Resources' unit EcoSolar Energy has received an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) for the 98.2-megawatt Panitan Solar project in Capiz, Philippines.
The approval was issued by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, according to a Tuesday Philippines Exchange filing.
EcoSolar, under PetroGreen Energy, is a joint venture involving PetroEnergy.
The solar project is targeted to begin operations by end-2028 and is expected to support renewable energy expansion in the Visayas while generating jobs and local economic activity, the filing said.
