Burlington Stores' Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Increase; Fiscal Q2 Outlook Issued

Burlington Stores (BURL) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Thursday of $2.01 per share, up from $1.60 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.80.

Revenue for the quarter ended May 2 was $2.86 billion, compared with $2.50 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.80 billion.

The retailer said it expects fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS of $2.05 to $2.20 and 10% to 12% in sales growth. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.93 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $2.98 billion.

For fiscal 2026, Burlington Stores now expects $11.45 to $11.80 in adjusted EPS, from $10.95 to $11.45 previously. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $11.49. Sales growth is now estimated at 9% to 11% from 8% to 10% previously. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $12.72 billion in revenue.

Shares of Burlington Stores were down more than 2% premarket Thursday.
