WesBanco's board authorized a 4 million share increase to the company's existing stock repurchase program.
The bank holding company said Wednesday it now has 4.9 million shares available and authorized for repurchase, or about 5.1% of shares outstanding, given there were 900,000 shares remaining in the existing program as of March 31.
The existing 3.2 million share repurchase program was approved in 2022.
The repurchase plan doesn't have an expiration date, the company said.
