1747 ET - Deckers Outdoor is confident in its full-year outlook, "but we also recognize the challenges in the current macroeconomic environment," CFO Steven Fasching says on a call with analysts. He also notes that there are "a few certain unique timing dynamics" that will affect the current quarter. Namely, a recent warehouse transition and delayed distributor shipments in Asia-Pacific could drag on its Hoka brand's wholesale business, Fasching says. And gross margins are expected to be down compared with last year, largely due to tariffs, he adds. Overall, Deckers guides for 2Q sales to rise about 5% from last year, missing Wall Street views for a 6.2% gain. Shares--which initially traded higher after-hours as Deckers reported an increase in sales during the recent quarter--are off 2.6%. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
