LG CNS, Kurly to Bring Humanoid Robots to Logistic Hubs; Shares Plunge 7%

LG CNS (KRX:064400) and e-commerce company Kurly signed a memorandum of understanding to bring humanoid robots to logistics centers and logistics automation, according to a Monday release.
The two parties will test humanoid robots at logistics centers, aiming for worker safety and workload reduction.
The project includes proof-of-concept trials to evaluate robot performance, including accuracy and speed, using LG CNS' PhysicalWorks, a robot learning and operation platform, it said.
Shares of the South Korean artificial intelligence and cloud computing company fell over 7% in recent trade.
