Service Stream Secures AU$455 Million in New Utility Sector Contracts, Shares Up 4%

Service Stream (ASX:SSM) has secured new agreements worth AU$455 million across the utility sector, including a nine-year contract with Yarra Valley Water valued at about AU$405 million and two contracts with Millmerran Operating Company worth a combined AU$50 million over three years, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Mobilization for the Yarra Valley Water contract is set to start immediately, with operations due to commence in October, the filing added.

The Millmerran contracts will support the delivery of major and forced outage works at the 425-megawatt power station in Queensland, including mechanical inspections, testing, overhaul, and repair activities on the boiler and balance of plant, the filing added.

The company's shares rose 4% in recent Monday trade.
