0600 GMT - Thai Beverage's 2Q FY 2026 earnings have reinforced signs of cyclical recovery, Maybank Research's Hussaini Saifee says in a research report. Despite cautious consumer conditions, the beverage producer's spirits revenue rose 1.3% and its net profit gained 6.4% in 2Q from year earlier, the analyst notes. Management also highlighted healthier domestic demand in Thailand, while costs remain well-controlled via early raw material procurement and disciplined advertising and promotion spending, the analyst says. Maybank Research lifts its FY 2026-2028 earnings forecasts for the Singapore-listed company by 8%-10%. It upgrades the stock's rating to buy from hold and raises its target price to S$0.48 from S$0.43. Shares are 1.2% higher at S$0.435. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
