American Water Unit Says New Jersey Drinking Water Met Quality Standards

American Water Works (AWK) said Thursday that water quality reports for New Jersey American Water showed drinking water across its service areas met or exceeded state and federal standards for regulated substances, including lead.
The utility said it invested more than $780 million across New Jersey last year to strengthen treatment and pipeline infrastructure.
