Arteris Shares Hit New High as 1Q Rev Tops Guidance, Rev Target Raised

Shares of semiconductor company Arteris were trading at new highs after hours Tuesday, after the company reported first-quarter financial results and raised guidance for its full year revenue.

After the bell, the company's stock rose as high as 7.8%, at $34.99. It previously hit a high of $33.46 on May 11. The shares ended the day's regular session at $32.43, down 2%.

The company reported a first-quarter loss of 17 cents per share on revenue of $22.9 million. The company said it had expected first-quarter revenue in a range of $20.5 million to $21.5 million.

In the year-ago period, the company reported a loss per share of 20 cents on revenue of $16.5 million.

The company also said it was expecting second-quarter revenue in a range of $23 million to $24 million, and full-year revenue in a range of $91 million to $95 million. Previously, the company said its full-year revenue would be in a range of $89 million to $93 million.

The company also announced the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Nick Hawkins, due to an illness in his family. Hawkins will continue to serve in an advisory capacity after his Aug. 31 retirement date.

Arteris said it has initiated a search for a new CFO.
