Harmonic Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Gain After Hours

Harmonic (HLIT) reported Q1 non-GAAP earnings late Monday of $0.21 per share, up from $0.11 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.12.

Net revenue for the quarter ended April 3 rose to $121.7 million from $84.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $102.2 million.

Harmonic expects Q2 non-GAAP EPS for continuing operations of $0.15 to $0.19 on revenue of $115 million to $125 million.

Analysts project EPS of $0.12 on revenue of $112.9 million.

The company expects full-year non-GAAP EPS for continuing operations of $0.57 to $0.67 on revenue of $475 million to $495 million.

Analysts project EPS of $0.56 on revenue of $469.6 million.

Harmonic shares rose 5.8% in after-hours trading.
