REA Keeps Bull Despite Deteriorating Conditions -- Market Talk

0011 GMT - REA Group keeps its bull at Bell Potter despite deteriorating conditions in Australia's real-estate market. Retaining a buy rating on the stock, analyst Michael Ardrey tells clients in a note that the News Corp-controlled advertiser sees the market becoming more balanced following a recent period of demand exceeding supply. However, Ardrey observes that REA seems to be confident in the value it offers customers, pointing out that its 8% price rise is twice that levied by CoStar-controlled rival Domain. Bell Potter raises its target price 2.8% to A$217.00. Shares are down 1.2% at A$174.71. News Corp is the parent company of Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
