Adeia Chief Executive Paul E. Davis will step down to focus on health and personal pursuits.
Davis will also give up his seat on the company's board, Adeia said Monday. Davis has been president and CEO of the company since 2022, and will remain with the company until a successor is named. The company is aiming to complete the search for a successor by the fourth quarter.
The search will be led by a special transition committee of the board that will be chaired by Dan Moloney, the company's chairman.
Davis started at Adeia's predecessor company, Tessera Technologies, in 2011 as associate general counsel, the company said. He was named general counsel within two years and became chief legal officer before being appointed president and CEO.
