Sales Softness a Headwind for Super Retail's Margins -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
May 08
0435 GMT - The biggest margin headwind facing Australian retailer Super Retail Group comes from softer sales, UBS analysts warn. While competition in some categories is intensifying, the analysts see operating deleverage as the biggest danger to Ebit margin. They tell clients in a note that costs could rise relative to sales. They expect sales softness to remain a headwind into Super Retail's next fiscal year. UBS cuts its target price by 7.4% to A$12.50 and stays neutral on the stock. Shares are up 3.2% at A$11.68.
