U.S. Antimony said Richard Isaak, senior vice president and chief financial officer, has taken a temporary personal leave of absence that is expected to last at least two months.

U.S. Antimony on Wednesday said Isaak's leave isn't related to the company's financial performance, accounting practices, internal controls or financial reporting.

The Dallas, Texas-based producer and processor of antimony, zeolite and other minerals said Shawn Winkler, who most recently served as chief financial officer of engineering, procurement and construction firm Burrow Global, has stepped in as interim finance chief.

Winkler has been serving as a financial consultant to U.S. Antimony for six months.
