Kennametal (KMT) reported fiscal Q3 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.77 per diluted share, up from $0.47 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.67.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $592.6 million, up from $486.4 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected revenue of $568 million.
The company increased its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $3.75 to $4.00 from the previous range of $2.05 to $2.45. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.44.
Kennametal also raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $2.33 billion to $2.35 billion from the previous range of $2.19 billion to $2.25 billion. Analysts expect revenue of $2.23 billion.
The company's shares were up 6.6% in premarket activity.
