Manulife US REIT's Growth Outlook Turns Cloudy -- Market Talk

0702 GMT - Manulife US REIT's growth outlook has turned cloudy, partly owing to volatile interest rates damping its future divestments, RHB Research's Vijay Natarajan says in a research report. The REIT's growth strategy could be delayed to 2027 given that ongoing interest-rate volatility will probably slow down transaction activity in the near term, the analyst says. Although the REIT's units remain deeply discounted, RHB Research awaits meaningful catalysts that can deliver a sustained price recovery. RHB Research maintains the REIT's neutral rating and the units' target price of US$0.06. Units are 1.75% higher at US$0.058. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
