Mountain Crest Acquisition 6 Corp. said Friday it has closed its initial public offering of 6 million units at $10 per unit, with each unit comprising one share and one right.
Each right allows the holder to get one-fourth of one share upon consummation of the initial business combination, said the blank-check firm.
The units started trading on Nasdaq under the ticker MCAHU on Thursday, the company said, adding once the securities comprising the units start separate trading, the shares and rights are expected to trade on Nasdaq under the tickers MCAH and MCAHR respectively.
The underwriter has been given a 45-day option to buy up to 900,000 additional units to cover over-allotments, the company said.
