Kaiser Reef's (ASX:KAU) Porcupine Flat processing plant at the Maldon gold project in Victoria moved to two shifts, the day and the night shift from Monday to Thursday, doubling plant throughput, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
"The change to two shifts at Maldon will significantly reduce our processing cost per tonne," Kaiser's Managing Director, Brad Valiukas, said.
Its shares fell 2% in recent trading on Friday.
