0751 GMT - Hong Kong's economy likely showed strength in the first quarter, according to Goldman Sachs economists. GS expects the city's economy to have grown 3.5% on year during the period, thanks to improved activity data. Retail sales volume rose in the first two months of the year, GS says in a research note. The services trade surplus likely widened in the first quarter, given inbound tourism rose to 88% of 2018 levels on average during the period, GS adds. Hong Kong is scheduled to release advance first-quarter GDP data next week. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
