Rongcheng Group, a Cayman Islands-based waste sorting service provider, agreed to merge with GalaxyEdge Acquisition Corp., a blank-check acquisition company.

The deal gives Rongcheng a pre-money equity value of about $350 million, the company said.

The transaction is pending approval of the boards and shareholders of both companies.

"The strategic transaction validates our integrated 'consultation--implementation--training' model and accelerates our business expansion," Rongcheng Director Chen Li said. "Becoming a public company will enhance our credibility and provide access to diversified sources of capital to scale our operations and deepen our competitive moat."
