Dow Jones
May 01
1308 GMT - Unilever is expected to increase prices to offset higher costs, Bank of America's Nicolas Ceron and Antoine Prevot write. Prices are likely to be 2.9% higher in the second half of this year, compared with 0.9% higher in the first quarter, with the biggest increases in the London-listed consumer-goods group's HomeCare unit, they say. Unilever should deliver its 2% volume growth target this year but could generate higher organic sales if the company hikes prices, the analysts add. Shares are up 1.6% at 43.66 pounds.
