Embraer (EMBJ) said Monday its total order backlog expanded 22% year-over-year to reach a record $32.1 billion during Q1.
The commercial aviation division accounted for $15 billion of the total, representing a 50% increase from the same period last year, the company said.
Executive aviation future orders remained flat at $7.6 billion, while the defense and security segment backlog hit $4.4 billion, Embraer said.
The company also said the services and support unit achieved an 11% increase compared with the previous year at $5.1 billion, and Finnair added 18 firm orders for E195-E2 aircraft to the commercial pipeline during the period.
