PLS's Cash Build Creates Scope for Capital Management -- Market Talk

0112 GMT - PLS Group's burgeoning cash pile supports its growth ambitions and potential shareholder returns, says Morgans. PLS's cash increased by 52% to A$1.46 billion in 3Q compared to three months earlier. Analyst Annabelle Sleeman says the stepup in cash generation at current prices significantly improves PLS's financial flexibility. "In our view, this creates scope for capital management initiatives, particularly if lithium prices remain supported through 2026," Morgans says. Still, the bank downgrades PLS to trim, from hold, because it believes much of the near-term upside is priced in. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
