GenusPlus Advances Tasmania Project Under Limited Notice to Proceed

GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) advanced the North West Transmission Development stage 1 project through limited notice to proceed, completing around AU$42 million in engineering and design works and commencing about AU$80 million in early works and procurement, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The project will enter the construction phase once TasNetworks issues a notice to proceed and obtains the required final investment decisions, along with planning and environmental approvals, per the filing.
Construction is expected to be completed by 2029, the filing added.
The company's shares fell 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
