Info-Tech Systems Well-Placed to Capitalize on SMEs' Digitalization Shift -- Market Talk

0249 GMT - Info-Tech Systems looks well-placed to capitalize on the policy-driven shift by small and medium-sized enterprises to digitalize core functions, RHB Research's Syahril Hanafiah says in a research report. Singapore's highly supportive policy environment has substantially lowered adoption barriers for SMEs and quickened uptake of human resource management systems, benefiting software-as-a-service HRMS providers including Info-Tech Systems. Frequent regulatory changes across the company's operating markets create a recurring compliance burden that encourages SMEs to adopt continuously updated SaaS platforms, the analyst says. RHB Research initiates coverage of the stock with a buy rating and a target price of S$1.40. Shares are 2.0% higher at S$1.02. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
