International Business Machines (IBM) said Wednesday that it has launched new cybersecurity tools to help organizations counter a new generation of cyberattacks driven by artificial intelligence models.

The company said it has launched IBM Autonomous Security, a multi-agent-powered service designed to deliver coordinated decision-making, response and intelligence at machine speed.

IBM said the platform uses AI agents to analyze software vulnerabilities and runtime environments, identify exploit paths, improve security hygiene, enforce policies across tools, detect anomalies and contain threats with minimal human intervention.

Additionally, IBM Consulting has launched a cybersecurity assessment service to help organizations evaluate security gaps, policy weaknesses, AI-specific exposures and potential exploit paths, the company said.
