6K Additive Secures Nearly $2 Million Modification to Existing Contract With US Defense Agency; Shares Fall 3%

6K Additive (ASX:6KA) was awarded a nearly $2 million modification to its existing phase 2 contract by a US defense agency, raising the total value of the award to $3.9 million with a total period of performance of 18 months, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The program is designed to prove the concept of a scaled production process delivering certified tungsten, titanium, and niobium powders used for additive manufacturing by converting metal scrap, the filing said.

The company's shares fell past 3% in recent trading on Monday.
