Maywood Acquisition (MYX) said late Wednesday it has completed its initial public offering of 10 million units at $10 per unit, resulting in gross proceeds of $100 million.
Its units are listed on Nasdaq under the symbol "MYXXU".
Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share, one right entitling the holder to receive one-fourth of one Class A ordinary share upon the completion of an initial business combination, and one warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share for $11.50 per share, subject to adjustment, according to the company.
Once the securities comprising the units begin trading separately, the ordinary shares, rights and warrants are expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbols "MYX," "MYXXR" and "MYXXW," respectively.
An aggregate of $100 million from IPO net proceeds and a simultaneous private placement of units was placed in a trust, the company said.
