DGL Group (ASX:DGL) entered a binding term sheet to divest two chlor-alkali facilities for AU$2.5 million, subject to customary conditions, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The assets, with a carrying value of around AU$7.9 million as of June 30, 2025, had already been impaired by AU$5.3 million in the financial statements for the half year ended Dec. 31, 2025, due to changed market conditions for chlor-alkali products, the filing said.
The company confirmed that the sale of these assets will not have a material effect on its ongoing operations, the filing added.
