0350 GMT - UltraGreen.ai is unlikely to be weighed by the Trump administration's decision to impose a 100% tariff on patented pharmaceutical products, say DBS Group Research analysts in a note. The water-soluble, FDA-approved dye used by UltraGreen.ai for fluorescence imaging is considered a generic drug and falls under the current exemption, they say. Demand is likely to remain relatively price-inelastic even if the tariff regime is extended to include generics, and the company should be able to pass on any tariff-related costs to customers, they add. UltraGreen.ai's kits for the Americas are packaged in Michigan, which could be an additional mitigating factor against potential tariffs, the analysts say.
