Tamboran Resources Shares Decline on Stock Offerings

Shares of Tamboran Resources slid on plans for two separate offerings of the company's common stock.

The stock declined 14% to $39 in after-hours trading on Tuesday. Through market close, shares are up 67% year to date.

The natural-gas company said it is offering an undisclosed number of shares of its common stock to institutional investors under one offering, as well as about 3 million shares in a separate, underwritten public offering. The company didn't disclose the expected price of either offering.

The company said it expects to use the proceeds from the offering to fund additional drilling, resource delineation and for working capital.
