Duratec Unit Agrees to Acquire New South Wales Welding Company

Duratec's (ASX:DUR) WPF Duratec subsidiary agreed to acquire 100% of the shares in New South Wales-based Davhold Australia, trading as Pacific Welding Australia, for up to AU$12 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Consideration for acquisition consists of an upfront payment of AU$6 million and a maximum earn-out of AU$6 million, contingent upon meeting a combined fiscal year 2027 and fiscal year 2028 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization hurdle of AU$6.4 million, the filing said.
Completion is expected to take place in or before July, per the filing.
