AlTi Global is parting ways with Michael Tiedemann, who had been at the helm of the wealth manager since its formation in January 2023.

AlTi on Tuesday said Tiedemann has stepped down as chief executive by agreement with the board, adding his departure is the result of a termination without cause, entitling him to severance payments and benefits.

The New York company said Nancy Curtin, its global chief investment officer, has stepped in as interim CEO and has also taken Tiedemann's spot on the board.

AlTi said Tiedemann's departure isn't due to any disagreement with the company, adding that he will remain available in an advisory capacity to assist with the transition.

AlTi was formed in 2023 through the combination of Tiedemann's Tiedemann Group and investment firm Alvarium Investments with special purpose acquisition company Cartesian Growth.
