DroneShield (ASX:DRO) said it opened its new headquarters in Europe in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, according to a Monday statement.

The European headquarters will be led by its Chief Commercial Officer, Louis Gamarra. Gamarra will supervise the growth of the firm's commercial and operational functions across Europe, including the expansion of a dedicated in-region team.

It will serve as an operational base for the firm's EU Center of Excellence and aligns with the European Union's ReArm Europe Plan/Readiness 2030 initiative.
