BlueScope Steel Says Over 60% Land Portfolio Zoned for Development, Sales, Leases Underway

BlueScope Steel (ASX:BSL) said over 60% of its 1,200-hectare surplus land portfolio has been zoned for development, with initiatives including leases and sales, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The initiatives include a 10-hectare car storage facility lease with logistics company Prixcar, with an expected value of about AU$40 million.

The company also conducted the sale of a residential parcel at West Dapto for AU$76 million, along with the rezoning of 200 hectares of non-operational land at Port Kembla.
