BRP Approaches 4Q Results With Visible Tailwinds Into F27 -- Market Talk

1451 ET - BRP has already provided a framework for F27, National Bank of Canada's Cameron Doerksen says in a report, ahead of 4Q results expected Thursday. "Assuming a flat retail environment, the better alignment of retail and wholesale alone should be a $400-$500 million revenue tailwind, which equates to a $1.25 EPS tailwind," according to the analyst. Earnings-per-share growth would therefore imply $6.00+/share with upside if retail improves, Doerksen says. He adds end markets are also in better shape to start the year, with the industry "broadly healthier than a year ago." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
