Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) secured approval from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources for a bulk sampling trench of about 1,600 tons of antimony ore material at the NW Array prospect within the Treasure Creek project, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The bulk sample targets the massive stibnite veins, where previous test work confirmed 89% antimony-bearing minerals before processing, the filing said.

Ore extraction operations are expected to begin in the near term, per the filing.
