Wipro (NSE:WIPRO, BOM:507685) said it has launched a new technology hub at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar, India, according to an Indian bourse filing on Thursday.
Shares of the company rose nearly 1% in Friday's trade.
The facility will support tech services to banking, financial services, and insurance clients, the company said in the filing.
The hub has an initial capacity of 150 seats, scalable to 500 based on client demand, the filing said.
