West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) will start a geophysical survey campaign at its Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia by the end of March to help find possible extensions to known high-grade silver mineralization beyond areas drilled to date, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Borehole electromagnetic and borehole magnetometric resistivity surveys will utilize diamond drill holes completed last year to the south and below the historic Elizabeth Hill mine workings to identify potential depth extensions to mineralization, the filing said.

Additionally, ground fixed loop electromagnetic and induced polarization surveys will be carried out across previous diamond and air-core drilled northern extensions of mineralization, per the filing.

Shares rose 3% in morning trade Tuesday.
