Pharvaris' Deucrictibant Presents Opportunity in Hereditary Angioedema Market, RBC Says

Pharvaris (PHVS) could gain a position in the hereditary angioedema treatment market with its oral drug candidate deucrictibant, supported by clinical data and upcoming milestones, RBC Capital Markets said in a note Monday.

The firm said data from a phase 3 study of deucrictibant's immediate-release formulation presents it "as potentially the most effective oral drug in the on-demand treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks."

RBC expects the company to submit a new drug application for the immediate-release formulation in H1, with a potential launch in 2027.

The firm also said the drug's extended-release version, which is being evaluated for preventive treatment of HAE in a phase 3 trial, could disrupt the prophylaxis market.

RBC said the combination of potential on-demand and preventive uses for deucrictibant could lead to Pharvaris capturing market share if development programs are successful.

RBC initiated coverage of Pharvaris with an outperform rating and a $52 price target.
