OKP Bags SG$87.3 Million Contract from LTA; Shares Down 4%

OKP (SGX:5CF) secured a contract worth SG$87.3 million from Singapore's Land Transport Authority for commuter infrastructure works along the Jurong Region Line, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Under the contract, the company's subsidiary, Or Kim Peow Contractors will be involved in the design and construction of high and standard covered linkways and will provide connectivity to pedestrians and commuters.

Following the award, the company's net construction order book stands at SG$627.2 million.

Shares of the infrastructure and civil engineering company were down nearly 4% in Monday trading.
