Hotel Owners Are Going All In on AI -- Market Talk

1221 ET - Lodging companies are ready to scale AI throughout their businesses this year, J.P. Morgan analysts say in a research note. "In our view, 2026 may be the inflection point for AI adoption, shifting from pilot programs and demos to scaled implementation that converts into more direct bookings and demonstrable efficiencies," the analysts say.Wyndham's AI is already handling millions of guest calls and reservation requests and Hyatt has seen a 20% productivity uplift for group sales teams and higher revenue per booking from its AI investments, they say. "Each C-corp in our coverage reiterated their commitment to AI through ongoing partnerships, testing with leading AI companies," the analysts add. (amira.mckee@wsj.com)
