Advance Metals (ASX:AVM) said recent drilling found broad silver-gold intersections confirming resource upside potential at the Yoquivo silver-gold project in Mexico, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The company said results were of up to 67.88 metres at 134 grams per tonne silver equivalent, comprising 68 g/t silver and 0.9 g/t gold from 305.9 metres, including 23.89 metres at 257 g/t silver equivalent, comprising 123 g/t silver and 1.7 g/t gold from 346.9 metres.

Drilling is ongoing at the Yoquivo Project to test both resource extension and regional targets, the filing added.

The company expects an updated JORC mineral resource estimate in late March, with assessment of bulk tonnage open-pittable resource potential in addition to planned high-grade underground resource potential.

The company's shares were up 4% in recent Thursday trade.
