Academy Sports & Outdoors' board has raised the retailer's quarterly dividend by 15%, to 15 cents from 13 cents.
The new payout, equal to 60 cents a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.99% based on Thursday's closing price of $60.39, up from 0.86%.
The Katy, Texas, company on Friday said the increased dividend is payable April 10 to shareholders of record March 20.
