Ausgold (ASX:AUC) has expanded its Katanning Gold Project drilling program to 54,000 meters, with a fifth drill rig to be added this week to accelerate deep drilling, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The expanded drill program, aimed to extend mineralization following robust assay results from the central and south zones of the project, will contribute to an updated Mineral Resource Estimate in the fiscal third quarter, the company added.
