iHeartMedia Leverages Podcast Boom, but Debt Keeps Analysts Wary -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Mar 04

1246 ET - iHeartMedia is navigating a complex recovery as a surge in podcasting and digital advertising demand struggles to offset its debt load, J.P. Morgan analysts say in a research note. While the company achieved better-than-expected 4Q revenue, core earnings and free cash flow came in softer than anticipated. The analysts have raised their 2026 revenue forecast to $4.19 billion--an 8% year-over-year increase--citing continued momentum in the Digital Audio Group and an improvement in traditional broadcast trends. However, the firm maintains an underweight rating, primarily on leverage concerns. iHeartMedia shares fall 9.2% to $2.82. (amira.mckee@wsj.com)
