Atlantic Lithium (ASX:A11) confirmed that the mining lease for the Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana was submitted to the Ghanaian Parliament and referred to the select committee to be considered, as per due process for ratification, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The parliamentary ratification will be the final step of the project's permitting process, which will allow the firm to further progress activities regarding funding and offtake arrangements for the project.
The firm's shares fell over 2% in recent trading on Wednesday.
