Nanofilm Technologies posts 24% revenue increase and higher margins in 1Q2026

Nanofilm Technologies International Limited (MZH) announced on Apr, 23 2026 that revenue for the quarter ended Mar, 31 2026 rose 24% year on year to 55 million Singapore dollars.

Gross profit margin improved to 39% from 27% a year earlier, while the EBITDA margin expanded to 26% from 12%. Management cited higher operating leverage, disciplined operating expenditure and stabilised production lines as key factors behind the margin gains.

Within the Advanced Materials Business Unit, consumer-related revenue grew 32% year on year and the industrial segment advanced 9%. Revenue in the Industrial Equipment Business Unit increased 52%, and the Nanofabrication Business Unit recorded 20% growth.

Customer Z contributed about half of first-quarter revenue, a similar proportion to the prior-year period. Europe accounted for roughly 5% of total revenue, rising more than 20% year on year. The company said it would maintain selective capital expenditure while pursuing global sales expansion.
