On April 15, 2026, which marks the 11th National Security Education Day, Jingzhou has launched two specialized study tours. This year's theme focuses on balancing development and security to safeguard the new journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan. To deeply promote the holistic view of national security, integrating defense education, red tourism, ecological conservation, and the spirit of Jing River water management, Jingzhou has specially introduced two themed routes: "Jingcheng's Serenity · Forged by Fire" and "Guardians of Mountains and Rivers · Tracing Red Roots." These routes guide participants through historical sites to understand security missions and inherit national pride.

Shashi Pier Cultural and Creative Park, located in Shashi District along the Yangtze River with nearly 3,000 years of history, is a key part of the Jing River scenic belt. Implementing the holistic national security view, it has established a provincial national security education base with an educational route featuring "one hall, two corridors, and multiple installations," offering an immersive "step-by-step scenery" experience. Core exhibits cover 21 key areas of national security, emphasizing water security, and include a national security cinema, confidentiality knowledge corridor, anti-drug knowledge corridor, and interactive displays. Wanshou Park, located on the Guanyin Jetty of the Jing River Levee in Shashi District, features the Guanyin Jetty from the Southern Song Dynasty and the nationally protected Wanshou Pagoda. Location Details: The Gaojimiao Military Town Defense Science Museum in Shishou City, covering 160 square meters, is complemented by over 20 red-themed sculptures, 20 red wall paintings, 100 red culture display boards, a 5,000-square-meter military education square, and a 1,000-meter Red Army path.
